Bummed.

To the poster from Berkeley below, I also had an interview on January 25th, and still haven't heard back. In spite of the fact that they told me during the interview that I am supposed to hear back "very soon". Very weird.

When I spoke to them last week, they told me decisions were going out THIS week - but from the poster below it looks like we have to wait another week to find out :/

Has anyone heard from ASU yet? I know they have a welcome weekend in late Feb, but I'm currently in the UK so I thought maybe I wouldn't hear so quickly from them because of that, but now I'm not sure.

Waitlisted for funding basically. Will reject offer if funding is not offered.

Got the rejection email. This was my top choice so this is a bummer. Good luck to everyone else!

Kind email from POI notifying me of rejection before official notices go out this or next week.

Called for an interview yesterday; they asked to interview me via Skype in 1 hour. (!!!!) Interview was fairly standard: they asked about my project, where I planned to do fieldwork, why I chose anthropology, which theorists I’ve been engaging with. They said decisions go out next week.
