Wanted 4 year program..................

Status changed in Track your Application this morning, and came home to formal letter from College of Social Work from Postal Service this afternoon. Found out about MPH acceptance 2/28, MSW 4/3. So happy about it!

Canadian Student, BA in Psychology, 5 years volunteer experience, 2 summers full time employment, 1 year of research, 1 publication.. however I wouldn't have accepted Laurier anyways.. Good luck to those who were accepted :D

Will reject the acceptance offer as I will be attending Smith College in the Fall. Hopefully a spot will open for someone who really want to attend CSUF.

Applied end of Nov for standard MSW program. GPA 3.9, strong letters of rec, only some experience.

I was not expecting an acceptant seeing I didn't have 2 years of experience. Will apply again.

Didn't get into MSW/MPH, but was accepted instead into the 3yr MSW!

So bummed, was my first choice. Congrats to those who got in

Interview notification by email on 3/16. On campus interview on 3/27 (correction). Accepted 2 days later.

emailed on Wed, got email on Thurs, very polite. Told I was not their first choice but no real decisions have been made yet.

$20k scholarship

I have been a long time lurker of these forums for the social work forums. So I feel compelled to let everyone know that I just checked the Myfile website. My stats- A minus in last two years, 3 years paid volunteer work in the social services (mental health) as a facilitator, 2 years non paid volunteer work, four presentations at international and local conferences based on the volunteer work that I do, background in social sciences, two methodology classes, and three very strong references from two professors and my volunteer supervisor.
