There is no change for the status on line. So I emailed the secretary of the department, she told me that I was rejected and attached the denial letter. Bad news.

In response to an email I sent: "We have a 'rolling admissions' and we expect that most admissions decisions will be made and communicated within a week to 10 days." Shortly after I received an unofficial acceptance letter. =)

To the Oregon poster below; in response to an email, I was told (by Eva Lunnemann) that the graduate committee has made all their decisions and all admission offers have already gone out. Hope that helps.

My #1 choice. I'm still in shock!

To the UO poster below: How do you know that you are on the waitlist for the University of Oregon? Did they contact you or did you contact them?

First acceptance!

Out of field. First B.A. in Economics. Comm D courses 4.0. Last 60 4.0

Out of State. Undergrad GPA 3.98 GRE Quant 153 Qualitative 155 Writing 4.5

Kind of surprised, but it's probably for the best, as I've been accepted into a funded PhD program elsewhere. 1a-9r-1w/19

They told me, I should have 40 percent higher in GRE in three sections, although I had a strong professor there to get acceptance, the graduate committee rejected me.
