Offer given. Now I'm deciding between being mentored by Bengio vs. UofT... Chose CV/ML as specialization. Never thought I'd be at this stage... Hard choice.

To previous poster: I scrolled back through past results (and asked a couple people at my home department, not UoT) and generally results are released early March. Last year seems to have been an anomaly in how fast they got back to people (but also, what do I know at the end of the day, really), so here's hoping! But I wouldn't expect results back in the next week or two from them. Fwiw. Good luck!!

Has any Ph.D. applicant received news from the UoT Political Science Department? Last year they started sending out first notification by now...

Accepted to direct PhD with full funding. Canadian citizen, three internships at major institutions, good recommendations, and high GPA (A across undergrad).

Official email expected tomorrow, received a call from POI

To the admit from Utoronto below: congratulations! Can you share your profile/stats? Also, has anyone heard from Dr.Nicolas Papernot?

Any news from admissions?

Earlier in the week I got a request for my official transcripts. This morning POI e-mailed me informing me of my admission to the program-- he assured me that the grad office will be getting in touch soon! Good luck to all still waiting! (Domestic student)

U of T poster, could you provide more details? Are you an international student? Did you interview?
