Flabbergasted to say the least!! Masters in CS, USC HERE I COME!!!

3.3 GPA from top 15 in Chemical Engineering, 320 combined GRE, solid statement, letters of rec from academic adviser and company president.

3.3 GPA, 324 GRE, Solid Statement of Purpose, Letter of Recs from company President (USC Alum) and undergrad adviser.

I posted previously on 5/9. I just received notification on 6/10 from UCD that my application was rejected. The listed reason was "No additional space available in the graduate program for this admissions cycle." Two master's degrees, one in CS and another in CE. No publications.

Does anyone know academically eligible for fall could result in a spring in official letter? I haven't received the official one yet, only the academic eligibility notification.

got reconsidered for fall'17. 78.6 percent from BVCOE, GGSIPU, Delhi, no papers.

Mediocre GPA from a Cal State, even worse GRE. Made up with with extremely strong letters of rec from deans and dept. chairs. 1 research internship at respected lab, 1 software engineering internship from big 4 contractor, currently doing R&D at another lab. Very late notice, so I barely made the cut

I applied to the UC Davis Ph.D. program on 1/14/2017. However, I never received any feedback on the application either through email or on their application portal. My assumption is I am waitlisted, but this is a tad bit unorthodox since the deadline for most acceptances passed on 4/15. Is anyone else in a similar position?

Did anyone apply CS in Software Engineering track? There are too many results about CS general, but few of SE application. Does there any available seats for SE track?
