Both Undergrad and grad GPA are 3.5. Didn't get any interviews. Expected since the university is falling short on CS faculty.

MSc, Canadian applicant

I regret to inform you that we are unable to admit you to the Ph.D. Program in Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University. Due to the large number of applications we receive we are unable to provide individualized feedback on your application. The Computer Science Department received over 1700 applications this year, and our program can support only a small number of new students. Unfortunately, this means that there were many highly qualified applicants we could not admit to our program. If you have applied to more than one program within the School of Computer Science, you will hear from each program individually. We wish you the best in your future endeavors.

LoRs from undergrad profs who supervised my research. Applied for ESOP but no interview so I'm taking it as a no. Second time admitted to the master with no funding and there's no way I can afford it. Good luck y'all
