5 years post-grad experience, 162/162 GRE and 3.7 GPA. 3 strong LOR from well known PI's

Was expected. Rejected for all neuro programs I applied to, but still holding out on cognitive psychology programs (nothing back yet :'( )

4.5 years experience in field. Multiple conferences/talks/posters. One 2nd author pub w/another in prep. Admittedly the fit wasn't perfect but still disappointed.

170/170/5.0 GRE, okay undergrad GPA from top school, 5 years research experience, 4 pubs (inc 1 first-author), 2 posters, master's in neuroscience.

4 (presumably) strong LORs, 168/168/4.5 GRE, 3.8 GPA from middling technical college (in an unrelated engineering major), 2.5 years research experience, 1 2nd author journal pub, 1 oral conference presentation, 2 posters, 2 undergrad research grants, 2 summer research programs

2 first author pub, 2 co-author; several presentations at conferences,

Email to check website. Was my first choice, so pretty disappointed, but also expected since I wasn't contacted for an interview a few weeks ago. Oh well - on to greater things!

Form email saying "Your decision has been posted in the online application system." Didn't receive an interview, so not an unexpected rejection.

Offered funded PhD position by supervisor following interview - awaiting decision from Department/University
