I've talked to people in the program and that have alllked before it seems that tbeh send out acceptances and everyone not accepted is put on the wait list. No rejections

Ugh..here we go again! Second year applicant. Really want to go here so if you know for sure you will not attend, please take yourself off acceptance/waitlist lists. Thx!

Kinda surprised, thought my interview went well! Hopefully I'll get off this waitlist! Congrats to those who were accepted!

Checked the online portal today and after months of it saying pending for my application, it said decision. Looked and it said that my app. was "not approved". Pretty upset about this rejection--went here for undergrad and thought that I'd at least get wait-listed at the least.

Have been checking the online portal and today under decision it said "contact admissions department". I called and after transferring me to the speech department, they said it was a no. They said they sent letters out on tuesday, but still pretty mad that I had to call in to find out I didn't get in.

I haven't heard yet, however, they do acceptance in waves. I'm going to wait a few days before I contact them. Good luck! Congratulations to those who were accepted!

For those who have not yet heard back from Hofstra I just called and asked if they had a time frame for when we should be hearing back. She said all decisions have been made and we should be hearing back by the end of the week or beginning of next week.

Has anyone still not heard from Michigan State?

To the UCF poster below asking about the portal: I went onto the graduate admissions home page, clicked "step three: check status" and that led me to the portal. From there I had to click "forgot my NetID" and they sent me an email with my netID and then I just had to set a password. Once you're logged on, on the left click 'student self service' > 'graduate student' > 'application status'. Hope this helps!

another waitlist

to the poster below asking about when they will send out decisions: i called earlier this week and they said something went wrong with their system, so they were going to send out summer decisions this week and then do fall after that. didn't give me an exact date, but i have seen some summer acceptances so hopefully fall will come soon!!

received and call and an email! Very excited!

Does anybody know how they do waitlist? Do they send out 1:1- as one rejects they send out a waitlist acceptance? Or do they resend another round all together at a later date? Thanks!!
