Has anyone actually received a formal interview request or completed an interview with UPenn yet?

Has anyone actually interviewed with Penn? I know a poster mentioned receiving a message from the department admin about a week ago, but has anyone received a formal invitation to interview since then?

And on the Lunar New Year.

VERY sloppy rejection letter. The letter said "Our MA program is very competitive" when I applied to the PhD...not a good look for the school if they can't even proof their own rejection letters. I have a fantastic offer at another school though, so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

No major professor for my area of study. Actually relieved, felt too much pressure to go here.

I'm stoopid

I applied to the PhD program, but my decision letter states that “only small number of students [are] admitted to the M.A. program each year.” What a careless mistake. You would think they would give the same level of attention to these letters as we did to our application materials. This was my most expensive application, too. Oh well.

Feeling a little bummed. But I already got accepted to the University of Central Florida fully funded (free tuition, $10,000 stipened, $5,000 fellowship), so I'm not too upset!

After seeing the first acceptance, I logged onto the portal and there was the decision letter. All the best to the rest of the decisions coming in :(

Called to ask when we could expect to hear, was told I had been accepted! Delighted! No word on funding yet though...

To poster below: I spoke to the department and they aren't sending anything out until Early-Mid March
