YAY

Two weeks after the interview. Jazzed.

I have not heard from anyone yet, nor did I get a rejection message. The application portal still shows the status of my application as "under departmental review." Is there anyone else who is left waiting like me? Also, does this mean we have probably been rejected?

6 years of laboratory research + first author publication

Worked with faculty in the department previously and in fact was one of my letter writers

Rejection email didn't even have my name at the top, so that was pretty disappointing. Honestly, one of my recommenders sent in his letter pretty late, so I'm guessing that's why.

Checked the site. Haven’t emailed or called yet but says I’ve been offered admission
