Surprising considering 3 publications in high impact journals, 4 amazing LORs, a solid essay, and 3 industry internships! Good luck to everyone!

Sad, but hoping my luck will change soon

3.88 GPA, 4 years undergrad research experience. 1 publication, 1 to be submitted, 4 presentations. Denied, but that is okay, I got in to other schools that I was happy with

2 papers (1 1st author). RIP

Generic "too few spots" email. Oh well, honestly expected it.

Hep-ex.

Hi everyone, were all acceptances released? Some people said the department would update the portal on Jan 22, does no information mean rejection now?

TTPB: I applied to Harvard, Caltech, and Princeton for hep-th or equivalent, and I too have not received anything from them. At least for the people who said they were contacted by these universities and posted their subfields, it seems most of them are experimental, or astrophysics. Let's hope for the best.

TTPB: What is your sub-field if you don't mind sharing?

Received interview invitation from Harvard

TTPB: how was the interview?

TTBP: Notifications have been coming from the PhD Admissions office.

TPB: Did the notification come from doctoral programs office or directly from faculty?

Had Harvard interview today (particle exp). Results will come out for all disciplines "by mid February" with good results preceding bad results, according to interviewers.

Finalist interview notification (OB)

Email sent for a Zoom interview. Epi methods track.
