No prior contact or interviews. Super excited!

Rejected to PhD program, but offered admission to Master's program

There is still on update from my end and according to the posts from previous years, if there is no good result in the first round, it usually means a rejection... Congrat to those who got admitted!

TTPB: I did not interview, I did not hear from them at all until I got the email with the acceptance.

TTPB: as far as I know there is no interview in application process. is it new for this cycle? did they tell you that you arr admitted or something?

Interview request from POI mentioned in my SOP (Ian Hurd), IR focus. Interview scheduled for Feb 12.

Same -- haven't heard back.

Had an interview on the 29th after getting notified late on the 28th. It went really well, and I was told they would inform me about the decision in a few weeks. I believe they are currently in the interview process and they said they have to interview all candidates (not sure if that means potential acceptances or everyone who applied). I am currently a Master's student with one 1st author paper almost submitted. 2 years of research experience, 3 years of undergraduate engineering experience.

TTPB: Congrats! May I ask if you interviewed with them prior to the admission?

hep-th. To the other person who posted that they had an interview, what was it like?

HEP-ex. Had an interview with a professor that I mentioned on my SOP.

I had applied for a PhD program, but I admitted in Masters with no funding!

Advanced to final round.

3 interviews. Area: ML/CV. Received an email from POI regarding acceptance.

Email from POI about the program, will interview later this week
