Received recommendation to the M.S. program. Now waiting for the official offer of admission.

To the person who asked: I didn't email any professors beforehand but Cornell was my undergrad and I indicated a prof. with whom I had done research work before. I got a phone call because there was an issue with my email address (!) so the other acceptances are probably coming later! :)
