Any news about this program?

no pub, not surprised

Was a long shot anyways...

RIP

Was emailed to check portal and on the portal there was a short and generic letter stating that they could not make favorable action on my application. I appreciate the fact they seemed to send it out for everyone at the same time though.

Receieved email to check the portal, not suprised because Harvard has only admitted three black students in the last 5 years, got into my top choice, but still annoying!

Received email notification of status update. Continuously conducted research at PUI during undergraduate. Interest in inorganic catalysis. In no way surprising, and got in at a couple of other amazing programs. Best of luck to everyone!

Organic. Received email around 5 pm saying to check the portal... rejected :(

3 strong LORs, 3 years of research experience, 1 upcoming publication

Not too disappointed as I already received an offer from my top choice. Good luck to everyone else!!

2 Publications, 1 summer internship

3 publications, 4 years of research, strong LORs but average GPA

I'm not surprised as I wasn't really a stand-out candidate. I had strong academics but nothing that would put me over the edge as it seems was needed this year. Good luck to those who made it!

1 JACS paper 2nd author, NYU REU, 3 yrs research, industry internship

Best of luck to everyone else!
