I also received that email from Northeastern. I'm pretty sure the system had an error and the email that we should've received in Dec was just sent now. Hoping we hear soon!

The send an email saying my app is complete and under review which is weird because it has been complete for more than two months now. Did anyone else get same email?

I got the interview invite yesterday. I'm domestic as well, and also got the strange portal update thing (although my portal has said the same thing for 2 months)

TTPB: I also received the same email today although I submitted my application by the due date. It might have been sent out by mistake to all applicants or it might have been just an update? Not sure really. I noticed that you're also an international student, maybe they just started reviewing international applications?

Just received an email from them "Your application to the PhD in Chemistry is complete and ready for review. An admissions notification will be sent via email once a decision is available." I submitted my app all the way back in November 2020!!! What the hell is going on? :( They JUST started reviewing my application? It looks like they sent interview invites already ;(
