Got an email from the admissions office: "Decisions for the CS M.Eng Program for spring 2020 have not yet been sent out with the exception of students from Cornell and those being offered scholarships through the College of Engineering. We hope to have review completed and decisions sent out within the first weeks of April. We suffered a bit of a setback in our review schedule due to having to transition to a fully remote campus."

A rejection as expected. My 4th rejection so far, I hope to get one admit from 3 admissions left.

My status still hasn't changed in the apply web portal (It just states the payment date and has Submitted next to the recommender names), am I looking at the wrong place? Where did you get the info about Waitlist from? Confusing information being posted here

Saw this same london guy on another platform. Quite sure the admits are fake and he spams everywhere.

In addition to what the poster below noted about spelling the degree "Mengg" every time, Cornell Meng didn't do waitlists last year and admitted in multiple rounds. It would be odd if they changed the format this year.

Offered an M.S. Also got in CMU, Columbia and UMich for Masters although applied for PhD. Which one is the best?

I am the one who posts below. I forgot to mention I am currently study at Cornell for Undergrad which is why I know the results haven't been sent.

TTPB: I can confirm the previous posts are all fake. The masters notifications for undergrad not from Cornell have not been sent/made. They will never admit you to MSCS if you only apply to meng. MSCS is very competitive and mostly reserved for Cornell undergrad.

TPB: Agreed Cornell, Yale, UIUC, JHU these univs are almost done sending admits, I am not saying that we are all getting rejected. Just that the chances of acceptance are quite low now. I'd say don't get your hopes high, Hope for the best, but be prepared for the worst. GL folks
