So they waitlisted me for like 4 months and literally ghosted me after April 15th. What an honor. Apparently, I underestimated how difficult this decision is and how unprofessional this process could be. Maybe I should send a Christmas card in case they forget.

I got an email that a decision was ready. Portal had the rejection letter.

I was waitlisted to Hollins over a month ago and I'm still awaiting a final decision. This is the last school I'm waiting on. Has anyone else on the Hollins waitlist heard anything? Or admitted students, have you made your decision? Could really use some movement here to plan for the future. :) Thanks!

Status says waitlisted but I actually haven't heard anything at all. Anyone else out there in the same boat? I reached out to the English department over the weekend, hoping to hear back soon.

2a/3w/14r/1p. Winding down the cycle. Y'all who're waitlisted at CU Boulder or UC Riverside, *please* make a call soon.

first of all, the decision is super late. second, they didn't send an email or anything, checked portal and there was a one sentence response. "Your application has been reviewed, and the committee has denied admission." rutgers is a fucking mess and I'm glad I dodged this bullet

Rejected off waitlist :(

Was first admitted with a partial scholarship, but my offer was later revised to include full funding and a stipend

Accepted off of the waitlist at what feels like the last minute. Been waitlisted for almost two months. Over the moon because it was make or break! 1a/0w/7r that's a wrap :D

5a/2w/5r -- email said accepted students have until May 15 to make a decision. strange notification timeline since every other deadline is April 15...

Accepted off the waitlist! Yay! 3a/1r

email to check portal

Accepted from waitlist via email

TAship off waitlist (accepted to program earlier but without funding it was functionally a rejection). That's me for this season [2a/0w/13r/0p]. This process has been brutal!

They just sent me a rejection, only a few days before the 15th, the application deadline. They seemed okay to deal with at first, but then when I did a follow-up email a month later asking where they were in the application process they just never emailed me back. I'm not being petty, I got into a program I am very happy with. I am saying this because the program looks great on paper, but seems dysfunctional when dealing with them. I don't want anyone to have to go through what I did as far as the waiting process goes. Also, the application fee is super high for an English program, so if you do apply, beware.
