I posted the rejection yesterday. However, the dean of students wrote an unsolicited, personal email to me today, which stated that the rejection was sent in error, and that, in fact, I had been put on the wait list. Now I just need an email that tells me this was an error, too, and that I was admitted after all! | ||||

Very surprised that I wasn't considered for the MAPSS program since I was accepted last year with partial scholarship. UChicago doesn't do deferments and I only reapplied to the PhD program because MA was too expensive for 9 online courses during covid with low possibility for jobs. Worked extra hard this time to have a polished application and more publications and still rejected lol. | ||||
