I haven't heard ANYTHING from UCF. I called a month ago and the last on the phone said all decisions would be made my May 15th. Luckily I've already committed to another university (ranked higher). It blows my mind that they can say nothing. Not even a waitlist status... the other program I committed to is much harder to get in to.

Huh!! After 7 Straight Rejects. B. Tech. Major in EE from IIT. All major projects and one publication in relevant field. Waiting for UCI. Scholarship grant of 1500$ for three semesters.

Does UCF just not tell you if you were rejected? My application has said "No decision" since I applied in January, and they said they would have all decisions made by early May.

Wow! I am in complete shock right now. I was originally waitlisted on 3/1, and just for the email about a hour and a half ago. Very stuck on what to do. I already committed to JU (loved the faculty and campus), but not sure if I should commit to USF since it will be cheaper and is ranked higher. I have until 5/12 to decide.

I was originally waitlisted on 3/1/16 and I received the acceptance email on 5/10/16 at 11:30am. I AM SO HAPPY!!!!!!!! I had lost all hope until now. I cannot believe it. I will be accepting this spot. Good luck to everyone else, when you least expect it your time will come. List above, my GRE scores were by no means amazing. But my CSD GPA (3.92) and my overall GPA (3.74) were both high. My letter of recs came from 2 professors and the family I have been a nanny for 3 years. Extracurricular activities included nanny for a child with autism, lead counselor for a special needs camp, NSSLHA, VP of 2 organizations, Dance Marathon captain, lifetime Girl Scout, and many others. KEEP YOUR HEAD HIGH!!!!!

I have given up. It's been over 2 months since the initial waitlist email. There are only 42 people in the Facebook group and there are 60-70 spots. I wish they'd send SOMETHING, ANYTHING. Acceptance, denial, an update about what is going on, anything. I'd like to move on with my life and figure out with I'm doing.

So excited! Has anyone found the Facebook page yet?

Got an email on Sunday afternoon (American time), really surprised. I applied to the PhD program but got admission to the MS program with AA offer ($1500 tuition waiver every semester for three semesters). The total tuition for each semester is at least $10,000, obviously $1500 is only a small portion...

Applied for PhD, accepted into the MS program. $1500 tuition waiver per semester. Offer letter states that I may be eligible to apply for transfer to PhD after one year. Undergrad from India, GPA 7.60, GRE 322, 3 IEEE conference publications.
