Just received news that I will not be coming off the waitlist...AGAIN. Kind of stings. This is back to back years for me haha. "Big gulps huh, alright, see ya later."

To the poster asking about news: I just received an email saying there was not enough room for me to move off of the waitlist for this fall. I wish you and the others out there better luck.

Did not receive an email; checked the graduate admissions decision portal.

I did not receive a single email about acceptance or rejection! what does it mean? Are they this coward to not even sent the rejection results?

Wtf! Do they want to send the results or what?! I should accept my other offers by tomorrow night, and I still did not hear anything from UCLA! Is there going to be more acceptance? Please answer if you have any information about ECE program at Ph.D. level.

Since I had not heard a response, I called the CS department today to ask about my application status. He looked up my application, and I was unfortunately rejected. He said that there was no waitlist and that notifications of rejections would be sent out early next week.

Gpa centric university just like usc only apply if u have above 3.5 on 4 otherwise a waste of time effort and money.

Finally! Not disappointed. Already accepted another offer. Best wishes to those got admission.

Hi All, was starting wonder if I’d hear anything as I’ve received zero notification about decisions, so called the office today. I was told that the latest I would hear would be at the end of the month, which is well past April 20. Has anybody heard anything this week? Thanks.

F/u from "Received phone call without prior email from POI. . .". Received admission offer over phone from PI w/ formal admission letter PDF via email a few hours later. Was not invited to preview day in March.

Those who haven't receive message from admission office, you may check it on "appstatus.grad.ucla.edu". Log in with your application email, and retrieve password to log in. Then you may check your status. This really disappointed me, that we shall check our reject by this way, not straightly informed by the office...

To the person who asked about the password on UCLA application status portal. You have to click on 'retrieve password', instead of 'view status', and then they email you the password to check your status. I'm waitlisted :(
