TTPsB who got an interview invite from Stanford end of January, have you heard anything about your admission decisions? Accepted/rejected/waitlisted?

Rejected by every other program... But I guess miracles do happen.

Response from the Admissions Office: Notifications of interviews have been sent out. Although the admission decision has not been fully determined, the PhD program of Sustainable Design & Construction rarely admits people who have not been interviewed and have not studied at Stanford. Really sad. Good luck to those who received the interview.

Of course.

POGGERS

TTPB: thanks for sharing the info! but it's interesting that my status has been complete a long time ago but i just checked and it becomes to 'ready for review'

This is for the part-time MS EE (HCP) program. No GRE. No research experience. 2 years of work experience in FAANG. Multiple internships at top companies (Tesla, Amazon..etc) B.S. in Computer Engineering from a very low-ranking University. Not sure how good my SOP and rec letters were. The rejection letter didn't mention the reason besides that there were many qualified candidates. Feels bad getting rejected from a cash-cow program...

Asked the admission office and they said the decision may be out this week. I saw my application status changed last week, e.g., incomplete -> complete. FYI.

top US college, non-EE major, two research experiences, two internships, no paper.

so excited!

Recent grad from the GSE (master's); fairly strong statement (used the same structure as used in other schools, praised by professors); strong letters of recommendation (1 former GSE professor, 1 senior researcher at the GSE, 1 GSE associate dean, 1 master's program director at the GSE, and 1 from the PhD program director). My guess is that my research interests didn't match with faculty's. A bit disappointed, but not unhappy (accepted in 1 other schools and finalist in other 3).

Admitted to HCP MS ChemE program. Undergrad GPA was so-so, but steady upward trajectory, ending with 4.0 final year. 3 years work experience. Took 1 Stanford course as NDO student and got a LOR from the professor. No GRE. Ecstatic :)
