To the poster below, did you receive an email to check the website? rnor just you checked the website?rnand I'm wondering how the letter is shown in the website. just by attachment?rnCongratulations for your admit!!

(Made a mistake in the previous post) I got an email from the department on the 27th and received the official letter today. I have been asked to complete the Statement of Intention to Register and the Statement of Legal Residence by a deadline that should have been mentioned in the email from the department. There is no deadline, however. Does anyone (from ECE) know their deadline?

Received a late email from the director of the program stating that I was on a short waitlist, and he hoped a decision would be made either way within the next week. My top choice, so hoping to be admitted off the waitlist! 2a/2r/1p

Not fully surprised, cuz I dropped out of their undergrad program and submitted an in progress/not complete thesis

To the poster below who asked about the offer: Thanks :), on March 27, I've talked with my PI. The graduate office sent me the official letter, the next day.

Called up UCLA CS Graduate Admissions, was informed that accepts & rejects will be sent by the next 2-3 weeks. God knows whats taking UCLA so long.

Undergrad at one of the top 2 universities in China.

I called UCLA today and they said that all decisions should be released by Friday next week (April 6) or the Monday after.

To the poster who got accepted off the waitlist at UPenn. Congratulations. I am in the waitlist for UCLA and I lost all hopes. But after reading your story, I feel a little better and I still have some hope of getting accepted. Thank you :)

Graduate from top Indian school, IIT b. One research internship with Yoshua Bengio. One internship at Palantir in US. 4 publications, two of them highly relevant. 1 years of additional research experience after graduation. Disappointed. Going to Stanford anyway. Good Luck to others.

I called the admissions office and they mentioned it is gonna take another 2-3 weeks and there has been some delay of migration of website.

expected

I received an "unofficial" admission letter from the department and was told that I should expect an official offer from UCLA graduate division soon. I have been waiting since then and was wondering if anyone has received the official letter? Thanks!

Is anyone planning on declining their offer to UCLA? I want to give a decision to other schools, but I am still on the waitlist there...

Is there a group for UCLA admits?

Area: Machine Learning

This is my dream school. I really hope someone declines the offer so that I can get a place. Waiting for the results is so hard, you constantly keep checking your mails even on weekends.
