They said during an info session that it is not chronological. Nothing was to be reviewed until after the submission deadline passed. It took 1 week to get a response about the delay. Still under review...

Definitely not chronologically, I submitted my Application in October and all my LORs were in by early December. Not alphabetically either, my last name starts with a C. And it took them like 10 days to respond to my e-mail about my status

To the posters below : After how long did they reply to your email ? When did you apply to the Data Science program ? I applied on 14th Feb wondering if they are going through the applications chronologically ?

Email to check status and they said my application was still under review. So it seems like they have made decisions on some and haven't touched others at all. Stay strong to those who are waiting, congratulation to those who got accepts and to those who didn't, you are going to do great things in your own path and in your own time!

Hello, (to the post below) I am international applicant to SFU Big data masters program. I have 3.5 GPA and 10 years of exp (not in data science). I am eagerly waiting for admission update from SFU. seems like they have 30 seats per class (counted ppl in previous class photo). considering the SFU reputation, around 300 ppl would have applied or more (just a guess). If we dont hear from them by Mid April, its over. ... Share your thoughts...

Expected. My undergraduate degree was not a good match for a course in computing.

Anybody heard from the Graduate School, so far only one accept for Big Data program(in this forum).

CMU web said "all applicants will be notified by April 7". But no emails and nothing on the portal. This is frustrating. I believe no email now means a reject. There application deadline was Dec 15 and not its been almost 4 months. If they can't give results in this time, I don't know what they will be able to do. Congratulations to all those who got accepted :)

Is there anyone waiting for the decision? Any information on expected date?

To all the stressed out people freaking out about not hearing back from Columbia and trying to game out what this means: I emailed them and was informed that I'm on their wait list, but did not get any official form email or have my status updated on the application website. That is what I know for sure. My GUESS is that anybody else who has not been accepted or rejected is also on the wait list, and I suspect that we may not hear anything until after April 15, by which time the most recent batch of admits is supposed to give Columbia their answers (according to someone who posted on this site).
