"Dear Uchechukwu Ogwurumba, Your application to the MSc Biostatistics (Non-Thesis) program for fall 2024 has been reviewed. We regret to inform you that the Admissions Committee was unable to recommend acceptance of your application. The admission application system will be updated shortly with this result. We receive a much greater number of strong applications than we can accept. Most successful applicants far exceed our minimum requirements. All applications are reviewed carefully and ranked. While we cannot provide specific feedback about applications, we can tell you that the key factors the Admissions Committee looks for in applicants are: · Does the applicant have the quantitative training required to succeed in our highly methodological program? · Is their academic performance strong overall? · Is the personal statement clear and thoughtful; does it show an understanding of biostatistical research; has the applicant looked at our program requirements and shown how our program aligns with their career goals? · Are the letters of reference excellent? We would like to thank you for your interest in our program and for giving us the opportunity to consider your application. We wish you the best in your future endeavours.
