Comd gpa 3.98 Waitlisted position #1! Not ideal but I think I still have a great chance.

Bilingual with research experience and strong letters of rec from faculty but, minimal work experience. GPA and being a strong candidate on the paper application earns you an interview, but I believe the interview heavily influences/determines who is accepted. I did poorly in the interview, so therefore I am not surprised by the outcome.

Didn't receive a phone call like they said they'd be doing; checked my portal and application status said "Denied Application".

I was so worried I wouldn't get in due to a lower GPA, but it is possible!!

out of field applicant, undergrad gpa was 3.86 with honors, magna cum laude, two years of working experience as a teacher, and received a scholarship! likely to accept, so excited!

Not surprised, but also don't care- I went here for undergrad and this was my absolute LAST choice program. Just FYI for other applicants, if you did not get invited to the Open House, then I'm so so sorry but it's a rejection. They will not be sending formal rejection letters/notifications and have stated that if we were not invited then that's it. Honestly if you were rejected like me- think of it as a blessing in disguise and go somewhere else-- TRUST ME.
