Short, four sentence rejection email. Been getting bad vibes from them since beginning their application process so kind of relieved, lol. Congrats to anyone who did get accepted, hope your experience has been better than mine with them. 1a/1w/2r/3p.

happy as can be!!

Had to call since one of my deadlines is in a week, and received a call back today notifying me that I was on the waitlist. I am on so many waitlists bruh 2a/4w/2r/1p

Ignore the waitlist—has anyone heard from Miami for poetry? I swear I saw a post like a month ago; just shot the grad department an email and got a copy-paste reply about a decision showing on my application when I have one. They're my last school to hear from...

Email to check the portal. Definitely saw this coming, given how selective the program is. Congrats to those who were accepted! 2a/3r/0w/2p

No email, checked the portal.

Email said to check portal. Nice form letter rejection. 0a/1w/7r/4p

Literally all it said: "We regret we were unable to admit you."

Checked portal, lol! 6a/1w/1r/2p

checked portal

Email telling me my status had changed and to check the portal. Portal had a form letter notifying me that I was wait listed and to fill out continued interest form, which consisted of two boxes: did I wish to remain on the waitlist or did I not?

Ignore waitlist! Wondering if anybody has heard back from this program yet...? I still haven't!

teaching load is double my other offer so will likely turn it down. 2a/0w/6r/4p
