Holy crud! I was not expecting this one - they're considered #1 in the nation for CRJ PhDs. I received an email earlier today accepting me to the program, along with a stipend for "no less than $16,471". There is also tuition remission for up to 10 credits/semester. There's also an open house that they're paying us to attend on March 27th - definitely attending! Two internships in the field, director of a legal service, undergrad research paper, strong letters of rec. | ||||

For any other UMD people accepted, I just got an email saying that they are reviewing my application for financial aid and will send out offers mid-March. Additionally, they mention applying for GA positions which you can do even if you don't accept. | ||||
