Contacted Dr. Warren and he informed me that he is not accepting students for the Forensic Anthropology program for Fall 2017 due to his upcoming retirement.

Did not expect it even though my GPA is below 3 since I work as a EI currently.

The official letter will arrive soon, but no word on funding. I am trying to contact the faculty for assistantships, but no one has responded back as of yet. Is there any funding available?

Was waitlisted (via post) and then accepted via email. I emailed them an updated CV and continuing letter of interest in April. I received an email back, saying they didn't know if they would need the waitlist this semester, due to an abundance of highly qualified applicants. No RA, TA, or GA's left this semester. Whatever! I'M GOING TO GRAD SCHOOL!

waitlisted for 2 months only to be rejected

It's been quite the ride. Had great recommendation letters, good GPA and GRE scores. My application was under review for approximately two months. Can't wait to get started!

After being waitlisted in the middle of March and not hearing anything at all since then, I got an e-mail this afternoon telling me I am not being offered admission. Shitty since this was my #1 choice school and also the last school I'm hearing from.

Accepted around 11:40am. Will be declining the offer because I have already accepted my offer to USF. I hope someone who truly wants a spot at UCF gets this one. Sending good vibes your way :)

Finally heard from UCF today and 11:50am, accepted! I will be denying the offer, as I have already committed to USF. I hope my spot at UCF goes to someone who really wants it, I have faith it will. Good luck to everyone, I know we all have bright futures in the SLP world.

To the USF poster below- last Tuesday they accepted a group of people off the wait list. They had until Thursday (so one week ago) to reply with their decision. That being said, if some people declined those acceptances then there should be another wave of acceptances soon! But it would not hurt to send an email asking where you stand, or if they know when you will know!

if i havent heard from USF at all after being waitlisted in march, should I contact them??
