Undergrad GPA. First result of the season, 13 to go.

GPA is grad. First rejection of the cycle, good luck everyone! 0a/0w/1r/13

Generic rejection email

0a/0w/1r/4p Probably my worst fit, so not too bothered (although not an encouraging start)

3.52 Grad bleeding hope

Brief e-mail, but glad it came early. MA GPA: 4.15. 0a/1r/11p

TTPB: I was the first poster who said I got an interview and I realize I made a mistake. Actually, the email was from the coordinator who CC'd the chair. I didn't realize the CC'd person was the chair (I assumed that was who I was interviewing with). So no, they did not tell me to communicate with whom I would like to speak to. Fwiw, I listed specific faculty in my statement and why we were a good fit. Maybe they are just getting those who I listed as POI?

TTPB: I also got an interview invite email today but was asked to tell them which faculty I want to interview with. Were you specifically told who you're interviewing with in the email itself?
