TPB: I was accepted in Early March I think, but declined. Initially offered $18k GTA, later offered a $3k fellowship

Anyone else waiting for decisions for solid- state electronics. Or are they done with the admits?

$90 application fee to wait 4 months to get a decision. Outrageous that they couldn't even answer my e-mails and only inform I've been rejected through their website on 04/17. I'm glad I got into a better university though!

TTPB that contacted Barry. I emailed him earlier today but didn't get a response so I decided to phone him and he gave me this same response: "Thank you for your query. We appreciate your patience while you wait for the decision on your application. Due to the fact that we are past the April 15 reply deadline, my best estimate is that your application is denied at this point. Please note that I am only providing this estimate in the event that you have schools and programs that you need to reply to with your decision. We do expect the decision on your application to be forthcoming very soon, being that we are quite late with the evaluation process." He also mentioned that there's still a chance that I might be admitted so there's still reason to keep our hopes up.

TTPB: Congrats, what track? Did you see the update yesterday or today. I want to know if there is anyhope beyong April 15. i am for DICE track.

TTPB: I have just sent a mail to Barry waiting for his response. If his estimates turn out to be correct then that would be largely unfair on their part, for them not to deem it fit to keep us informed on time, sigh. (DICE Option)
