I emailed them last week, no response.

waitlisted via email! unexpected! although there is no mention of a "priority"like other posters.

To the post who get rejected below... did you get an email ? or did you email them asking for decision ? thanks !

I have also not heard anything yet from Maryland Communication PhD.

Has anyone heard from the PhD in Communication program?

Has anyone heard from the PhD Program in Urban and Regional Planning and Design?

Checked the web site and found decision letter.

Received recommendation from iSchool, waiting for the final acceptance letter from the Graduate School.

Just declined my offer at UMD. Best of luck to those on the waitlist!

To the poster below, heard from the dept that they offer around ten assistantships and around 40 admissions, so I assume that if have not heard from anything about funding, probably on the wait list for funding opportunity.

Not surprised because I'm pretty sure I made a big mistake on my application. Got other offers elsewhere so no big deal!

I emailed them recently and their response is something like "we haven't made many decisions yet, but we hope we are able to make some decisions soon."

Does anyone hear from Maryland after the first interview? such as the second interview, waitlist, and offer. thanks.

Informed of being recommended to the graduate school but no further information yet.

Received Dean's Fellowship and RA/TA letter.

post open-house

Admitted via email today from Ruth Davis-Rogers. Offered RA/TAship for first year for 15k, and an internship for the second year for 16k. Will likely be turning down for MIT or UCLA. 6a/0r/1p

To UMD poster below: no, still waiting. Also still waiting on Wisconsin Madison and UNC (lots of UNC posts so I am guessing it's a no). Hang in there!
