Contacted the department today and they replied saying that decisions haven’t been made yet. Apparently the timeline to hear back from this program is mar-jun. Hang in there, folks!

TBP: I got the same response last week. Emailed them again on Thursday once I got another offer with a deadline (U of T is my first choice) and was told the info would be passed on to the admissions committee and to check in again if I hadn't heard back by the end of the month. Not sure if they're just releasing offers slowly, or if they're waiting to hear back from those that have been offered spots. Also seems like most of the initial offers went out to U of T students (both for MA and PhD) but that might just be based on who's been posting on here

Has anyone heard from UofT (PhD)? I called last week and was told that they had released some acceptances and will do so for the coming weeks... I've called them enough times in the last three weeks, I don't want to be too annoying. Thanks

I'm the poster below. I got interviewed at the end of January on campus (I'm still a student at the University of Toronto). My potential supervisor said I was near the top of his list and expected that I will get admitted in the first or second round. My offer deadline is only two weeks, so I think if I were to reject the offer, the other candidates on the lower rankings of the list will get reviewed and admitted.

So they actually handed out the first round of acceptances, don't believe what the faculty says. Wouldn't ve surprised if most spots were filled by now. Probably looking like a bad sign boys and girls.

BC applicant - been waiting for my status to change from "Under Review" for the last few weeks. It changed the last week of January and I haven't been notified of any other updates. I called and spoke with Marija in admissions last week and she said the admissions committee were just in the process of going over applications and would be starting to make decisions/send out offers throughout March & April!
