First rejection of the season. Never feels great, even when it's not a top pick. MPH from top 5 school and anthropology BA from top 5 school (anthropology track). 1A/3I/1R/2P. Congrats to those who got interviews!

I applied for the Health Psychology PhD program and still got no answer. I have a 4.0 GPA from the Masters in Health Psychology (and 3.91 from the undergrad), relevant research experience, 5 papers published, 2 in press, 3 under review and 1 in preparation. Furthermore, I have participated in 5 conference talks, some of them international, and my Ielts overall score is 7.5 (the minimum requirement is 7.0). Has anyone heard back or got invited for interview? My status on the website only appears "in progress".

Applied priority decision, heard back today

Interview with a couple of days notice. For those interested, my subfield is 20th century, but I have an interest in cross-period work. Does anyone have any idea how many people (roughly) get interviewed? And what my chances are of getting an offer at this point? I've been told to expect an informal 15 minute chat about my interests, rather than a grilling, and that my application will still be fully considered if I decline the interview (although I suspect this is somewhat lip service).

Sociology track (Gender and Sexuality Pre-doctoral) 3 publications, 3 articles under review, 5 ongoing projects, 3 years research experience. BA in Gender Studies. GPA is masters, with a prize-winning thesis.
