EE background.

I emailed the Comm Department, used to send them additional material. No response about the progress.

Informed by the department more than a week ago. Last 2 years' GPA=3.90 and relatively good resume. Admission without funding. Already accepted to other programs but unfortunately, I am Iranian and so far unable to attend any of them. Best wishes for everyone.

To the post below: we are all in the same situation. I emailed the department and they told me that all results will be out next week. We were all rejected or put in the waitlist for sure.

Called to arrange interview date on 2/1, interviewed 2/27, and received e-mail on 3/8. Hope this helps anyone looking for answers of the timeline of this process. Best of luck!

Just noticed a rejection report below, but found no status change on the application website. Any one in the same situation?

My first rejection...

First-gen college student. Almost a decade of professional theatre experience. 2 peer-reviewed theatre history publications; 1 critical essay awaiting publication. Letter stated their applicant pool was much larger than usual. Could be true; we'll never know. 3a/5r/0w/6p

Although some faculty said my background matches their research center, and I got an intern offer one year ago at umd, finally got a rej anyway...a little upset
