Oh wow! Three days after the April 15th deadline! Had enquired prior to April 10th only to be told that I will be 'Officially' rejected next week. But Florida, Gainesville takes the cake for the most annoying university. Repeated emails to department, website check- no notification of decision status whatsoever.

Low Quant score.. Really wanted to go there because of research fit :( Going to University of Maryland, College Park for PhD in CS

I've got an offer to MEng program today, I actually applied to the MS program thought.

Such a timely notice! :/ And not a very nice letter either! SUT

Profile: 4.0 MS GPA, 2 years of experience in materials science research, journal and conference publications

Anyone with CSE MS admits/rejects? Curious what's taking them so long!

the dream is over :'(

Rejected off the wait list.

Funny thing is they knew from the beginning who they want and didn't have any wait-list what so ever and yet they put all of us on hold. 5 rejection in a row 4 to go. Please withdraw your offers if you don't want to attend.

"Fvck the state penn, fvck h0es in Penn State."

Not surprised in the least...because it's APRIL 16th!!! Atrocious system there at Penn State, regardless of how good their faculty and departmental reputation may be. I would never reapply, just because it is profoundly disrespectful to inform students a day after the traditional waitlist deadline has passed. Again, this is not sour grapes over not getting in...just annoyance at a broken system.

They should let applicants know the result earlier.

Just received the last notification and finished the applications of this year.

Stupid program, don't even answer your inquiries. Very offensive and small email.
