No interview. Has anyone heard anything? Seems late for UNM to have sent no acceptances at least, but no one has reported anything.

IGNORE INTERVIEW - To the poster below, they are still deciding on American applicants. They have a shortlist, but only are able to offer 2-3 spots to American applicants this year. Decisions should be relatively soon, but not sure when. So, there is still hope!

Deferment offer since the program doesn't have funding this year; I'm most likely declining. At least the application fee was already waived!

E-mail to check portal. Not disappointed cos wasn't expecting an admittance anyways. At least I won't say I haven't tried.

Thank you for your application to the PhD program in Rhetoric and Writing Studies at Bowling Green State University. The doctoral faculty have reviewed your materials, and we are impressed with your credentials for doctoral studies. However, we cannot offer you admission and an assistantship this year. There are no admissions and funding packages available, nor do we expect any to become available for the 2022/2023 academic year. Would you be interested in a one-year deferral of your application? A one-year deferral would mean that with no further application charge, your application would be reviewed next year, that is, to begin the program in the 2023/2024 academic year. We are offering this one-year deferral only to a few applicants like you, that is, applicants who are highly ranked and qualified for doctoral studies in rhetoric and writing, but whom the program cannot admit this year. If you would like for us to defer your application, respond to this message no later than April 15, 2022. This time will allow you to consider other offers you may receive for your doctoral studies. If we do not hear from you by the April 15 deadline, your application will be marked as Denied. Again, thank you for your interest in our doctoral program, and all best wishes for your continued studies.

Checked the portal after seeing the decisions today, no email yet. 0a/5r/2p

Got an email saying a decision was now available on my portal. Applied with an AfAm concentration. Not too upset, I was going to turn it down if I got in anyways in light of some recent scandals with the university.

I saw the other rejection and checked my portal. I knew it was a longshot since I'm an alum, but I had good reason to apply and it could've been a great fit. Feeling worthless now. 0a/4r/3w/5p

Everyone wanted to know what I'd do if I got into Harvard... I guess we'll never know

My heart skipped to see I was waitlisted at my dream program. To be a disabled person with the opportunity to work in crip studies would be EV-ER-Y-THING to me!!

Has anyone heard back? They're my last hope for this app season
