Oh well, I got into Harvard and USC so it's their loss.

Sad because this was my top choice-- but I was accepted to Harvard, so I'm happy anyway! 153Q, 168V, 5W. 3.7 undergrad GPA.

Accepted after [intensive] interview only 5 days ago. Pre and post qual salary listed, some extra money if you get external fellowship. Grateful for this opportunity!

The email mentions 9 newly admitted CDO/CSE students who will be attending their admit event. While this number appears low for combined MS/PHD admits, the email suggests that right now is a difficult time to travel. There are two ways to look at this: 1. Most admits have been notified, but are unable to travel due to coronavirus (hence the low number of students attending the event) or 2. More students might be accepted given the program typically admits between 10-20 students for CDO. I'd place my money on #1. - Someone who is likely to receive a reject

Always love it when a program gets back to you within a week after the interview, shows that they are put together and considerate

TTPsB: Have the same feeling with you guys. From the past years I saw there's several offers coming out after the first wave of acceptance and before the open house. But it seems not the case for this year. Don't know what is going on. Wish us the best.

We regret that we are not able to offer you admission. We received more than 1100 applications and were able to admit less than 5%. In selecting so few from a large and talented group, we must turn down many qualified applicants.
