Wonderful phone conversation with Russ Bradbury. No definitive word on funding just yet. SUPER STOKED! 1a/0w/1r 7pending

Very considerate and apologetic form email. 0a/1w/2r/9p

I was just telling my friend about my rejection to Madison and he was encouraging me when BAM! Another one! 2r/0a/0w/11p

Given my # on the waitlist. Three spots higher than my spot on this exact waitlist last year... but not high enough to get in, since they only take 3 people and Vandy is a spectacular program. Feeling very bummed bc Lorrie Moore is my one & only.

Got the nicest email from Lawrence Coates on Feb 10. Got funding info on Feb 20 - nothing more or less than what was already promised

Expected but still the form rejection hurt

Email sent by Graduate Director, official email will come soon. No word on funding yet, though. The other person who has posted acceptance, is Mankato a fully funded program, do you know? I submitted an application for a TA position but am uncertain on other options. Thanks.

Got the phone call yesterday. Over the moon.

!!!!!! An email is supposed to follow soon, but haven't received it yet. Wondering if this is all an elaborate prank. Ecstatic in the meantime.

I received an email notifying that someone with an MNSU email address submitted a recommendation on my behalf. Any idea if this is a good sign? Or do they do that for all applicants? I'm very eager to hear some news!

Took about 5 days after submitting my portfolio and talking to the director. Offered a very nice graduate scholarship. 2a/4p/0r

It was tough seeing this email. The news left me heavy with grief, but I made a "failures" folder for my email and added the rejection to it. I'm going to overcome this. Things are looking up with other schools and I can't let an issue like this deter me. So, onward and forward.
