GPA is for Philosophy Major; 0a/1r/12p

PI I had been in contact with called. Very similar research to current. No interview, Invited to recruitment weekend

no interview, so not surprised oh well

7a/1w/0r. Got an email telling me to check the portal, and later that day got a kind email from faculty saying he hopes the grad school didn't beat him to delivering the news.

To the poster below: I also have heard nothing about Anthro and F&ES. But I assume it's a reject since they told me I'd have to get accepted into Anthro first, and then considered for the combined program, and I haven't gotten interviewed or anything.

TPB: Did any of you heard back from Yale applied to Anthro & FES studies? Thanks!

Feeling a bit desperate because I like the program so much...If anyone got into the sociocultural track at Yale but is accepting the offer from another school that they like better, I would really appreciate it if you could let the school know and make the opportunities happen for those of us on the waitlist. Thanks so much. Good luck with everyone's future endeavors.

To the previous poster posting about Yale, is the 5/20 acceptance for sociocultural only? According to their own stats in past years they send out ~15 acceptances. I wonder why

e-mail from committee chair, 5 accepted from 20. Rejected after interview

Received an email to check portal, and then a very kind follow-up email from Shelly Kagan. I've already been accepted at a program that's a much better fit with my interests, so I will likely be declining the waitlist spot soon. Best of luck to all sticking it out! 1a/1w/0r/7p
