Applied for Ph.D but was rejected, then was informed they can re-evaluate my application for the masters program. Got an email today informing I've been recommended for admission and will receive official offer letter in a few weeks.

Just checked my portal on Quest and it read "deny" Those waiting for a decision should check the portal. Think they will give all the decisions by Friday.

Please reject your offer if you don't plan to attend here. This is my TOP choice.

Anyone still waiting for a decision from the department? Have they put us on some kind of waiting list or sth?

I got accepted today! Was waitlisted until now! Yay! I e-mailed them two days ago asking about my status and Andrea ended up sending me an offer letter. Weird that SFU rejected me though lol. Thank you for those who declined their offer. You guys are awesome.

To the Pure Mathematics applicant below though my stream is different and many from my stream have been offered admission I am still waiting for my decision. I also wrote to my dept and got the reply "We still have not made a decision on your applications for the Biostatistics Master of Mathematics program for Fall 2016.There were many applications and the committee has made a large number of decisions, but not on yours yet." Not sure we have been placed in some waiting list or not. Maybe if ppl who been offered admission decline we might get the call. Fingers crossed for both of us :)

Hopefully, I could get accepted by the other two wls.

So I wrote to the grad coordinator about my app status and she replies back saying "We still have not made a decision on your applications for the Biostatistics Master of Mathematics program for Fall 2016.There were many applications and the committee has made a large number of decisions, but not on yours yet.Thanking you for your continued patience." Is there still a chance for admission or can I expect a rejection mail soon?

Asked the director my status and been told that I am currently waiting for the vacancy. If you plan not to accept this offer, please turn down it. Very thanks!
