I am all over the moon right now. I received my departmental offer today and now currently waiting for college offer and, hopefully, any sort of funding or scholarship from the university. If I will not get any scholarship from the university, I am still determined to pursue this, so I will do everything to secure funding. :D

Accepted the 1+1 MBA with MSc in area studies. Got to the final interview stage but was not accepted. However, this was a pretty good experience overall. I was a long shot with much less work experience than most successful applicants, and the school was supportive and responsive. The only drawback was that the deadline was pushed back in the last minute by 5 days and no one bothered to reach out to confirm this ahead of time, causing unnecessary prolonged anxiety. Will go on to do the MSc, but unable to pay for the MBA year without a scholarship.

To the Migration Studies below: No I did not get any info on funding. But I have reached to dept, and they said that the majority of scholarships have already been awarded, and that if I have not heard so far, then I should assume that my scholarship application has not been successful.

I'm beginning to believe the department of Eng. Science does not exist? Zero communication and you can't get hold of anybody! Very frustrating.

Could anyone please tell me how long people usually get to respond to offers? Is there a time limit to which they must accept/reject? That might indicate when approximately I should hear back about the final outcome of my application. Thanks!

Accepted with no funding. 05/09/2017 offered Wadham College, probably will decline.

Has anyone who applied for a DPhil in Organic Chemistry during the March 10 deadline hear anything? I'm an international student, so I assume that the interview dates won't be the same for local applicants. It's almost 8 weeks now and the anxiety's building up everyday.
