Seems like great low-res program.

So happy. A very kind phone call from E.J. Levy followed by me jumping up and down a lot. Funding info to come in a couple weeks. 1a/0w/2r/8p

My third wait list. Someone please kiss this frog. 0a/1r/3w/1billion pending

Admitted with full tuition + $14,000 stipend. Must have gotten rejected from Iowa (I never heard from them) so this is a nice surprise. Good luck to all!

Accepted with funding!

!!!!!!!!

Missed a phone call last Thursday from the program and tried to call back. No response. Got another call today with the acceptance. No word on funding

I had just given up hope. And on my birthday, no less! No funding, though.

Anyone care to share more about the process of being wait listed? Like when we might know/chances of getting in? Probably varies by campus, and where we are on the wait list...

Accepted with funding!! 2a/3r/0w/6p

!!!! No word on funding yet...but we'll see. (1a, 0w, 2r, 8p)

"I am pleased to inform you that the NEOMFA ("name") in creative writing program has accepted your application. The admissions committee found much merit in your work, and believes you have excellent potential for study in our program." AHHHHHHH - This was my third choice. No word on funding yet. I hope I get funding, otherwise I will have to turn it down 2a/0r/0w/5p

After a truly awful week, this was the perfect ending. 2a/1r/0w/2p

This one was a blow. I am now realizing that the all the "don't worry about your GRE scores" assurances that I heard were false. Every rejection so far is from a program that required the test. My math scores were abysmal. 1a/0w/4r/5p.

So unbelievably surprised!

Funding insufficient, per usual with Columbia's MFA program

For the poster below - I only got my acceptance phone call this morning and there are only two fiction acceptances posted here so far. I doubt Hollins is done. Don't lose hope :).
