International applicant. BSc and MSc at UBC, high GPA, publication in prep. My field is not popular though (environmental chemistry). Based on previous conversation with potential supervisor, was told that this year is extremely competitive so I kinda expected this.

It's been almost 3 months, and I could not hear anything back from them. Anyone here already admitted? Even if I'm rejected, why dont they inform me via email at least? Feeling depressed although I have alternative offers. They don't reply to my emails though haha really funny. Hey, are you alive???

Wow. I have not expected this letter to come up since almost April 15th. I previously assumed the program rejected me. But when I received this letter, it did surprise me, to be honest. May consider joining.

GPA: 3.6., non-EU/UK. Spent a semester abroad (Erasmus+), did a 2-month internship there, and currently engaged in a research project at the institute in my country. Coming from a not-known uni.
