To all future applicants, given their extremely small class size, getting into UMD is as hard as UIUC or CMU. Don't apply unless you think you're good enough for the aforementioned schools. | ||||

Their standards for PhD and MS are same. To be in this program, you have to have tons of research experience and good LORs. SOP doesn't matter a lot, get published at good conferences and try here. Otherwise don't even try, waste of money. Batch size is pretty small of what I heard not more than 25. | ||||

Just posted how sad I was due to reject from UIUC and someone posted that UMD has decisions available on portal. Really screwed up. 5 rejects. 4 decisions left. Manh! Anybody with no admits just like me and really really have their insides twisted and turned? | ||||
