3.9 GPA at mediocre state school, 3.5 years research experience with no pubs but 2 presentations (1 poster local, 1 oral national cancelled due to Covid).

Contacted by PI via phone. (I was amazed given that I submitted the application 10 days late due to being confused by the website). Miracles do happen! Good luck to everyone else!

masters student, >2 Scientific publications, 1 Genomics research preprint, >1 conference presentations, 4-5 years in research

Well, better than sending rej during the march. Nice to know in advance.

I really like this program and the PI :(

Received phone call from POI. Undergrad at regional state school, 4.0 GPA, 4 years research, one REU with famous PI at top 15 school. 4 conferences, one paper in works.

3 years of research experience, emailed a professor in advance for advice, but no luck. Congratulations to all of those going in to interview!

In my last year of undergrad, high GPA but little research experience.

First rejection so far, is interesting because it was one of my safe schools. Luckily got interviews from some Ivy League programs (which I was not expecting at all). Good luck everyone.

Had high hopes for this program!! Was in correspondence with a POI and everything!! Second rejection this week....

feeling alright... this was my last pick out of the four I applied to so we will see!

Quick email. 2 interview sessions.
