check portal email, generic rejection wrapped up inside

TTPB Haven't heard anything. Based on the previous comments, I expected to hear something by this week. BTW, has anyone been able to access the online chat? Apparently they had planned chats for "accepted students" back mid February, but they abruptly closed it down

I've already accepted elsewhere, but this was a super late rejection.

TPB: The program coordinator said "sent out offers" I got a system rejection email today.

Does anyone know if Penn is still sending out acceptances or if they are on a wait list. A bunch of rejections went out mid-Feb, but I did not hear anything and I had a chat (interview) with two professors in the admission committee in January.

With full 5 year funding (10 months stipend+2 months summer) and healthcare.

Anyone still waiting for penn's decision?

Has anyone heard from the MEAM PhD program?

TPB: Did they say decisions have gone out or are about to go out? Seems unlikely that decisions would have been released and there would be zero accepted posts so far...

Emailed program coordinator. They said they just sent out offers. 7 spots out of 225 applicants.

Emailed the dept to check status, received a very kind rejection notice!

I have not heard anything yet either. I do know they only take 2-3 people on average so I don't know what this means.

Applied on 2/14/20, interviewed with UPenn SP2 alumna on 3/5/20.

To the poster below, did you get rejected after attending the recruitment weekend or did you not attend?

Took a while! Their recruiting weekend was 02/28 lol. No waitlist, just a very short email saying no.
