If you got an email from VT stating that you are at "the top" of the waitlist and will be offered an additional spot if it opens.....at least 5 fiction writers have reported getting this email on the draft. Just don't want folks to really throw their hopes into this chance, since it really is a bit misleading. | ||||

I called yesterday to ask about when they'd be sending notices, and received word that they had "over 100" applicants this year so the process has taken longer than possible. I'm kind of just assuming it'll be a no at this point. Pretty crazy and ridiculous they're giving people 1 day or less to get their decisions in by the April 15th date. | ||||
