Applied for PhD program--accepted into MA program via e-mail from the DGS, funding decisions to follow. Although thankful for the offer, I will not be attending.

Applied to PhD program, but was accepted to MA. Unofficial notification with funding info to follow.

Informed it was an early decision so funding is still pending but is likely. Official notice to come from DGS. So excited! One of my top choices!

Email from advisor, official acceptance to follow. Relieved. No more bologna from my undergrad about studying Bellini.

Stunned. Threw in a last minute app and didn't think I had a snowball's chance in hell.

Interview yesterday, unofficial email this morning. Funding decisions come later. First choice school.

First acceptance! Funding to be announced by mid-March

Game changer. Totally unexpected phone call.

Finalists weekend in March.

Rejected with no interview.

Interview scheduled Feb. 7th.

Email requesting interview. Faculty member mentioned that the department has completed its first round of reviews. Accepted applicants will be notified within the next two weeks.

Skype interview with one of the faculty, it was not an official interview, but an "is this SOP yours" session. There is no guarantee at this juncture.
