e-mailed asking for update since I haven't received any correspondence since submission, was not interviewed. was told to expect a response this week.

As an applicant, I have a Bachelor's degree and a Master's degree in applied social science; 3.5 GPA in both degrees. GRE: 168v; 150q; 5.0aw. 8+ years international work experience in my geographic area of interest/research. Started my own consulting business in monitoring and evaluation. On March 4th, I received an email to check the portal and I found a polite, generic rejection letter.

Received an email to check admissions portal.

First choice! So excited!

Got email to check admissions portal.

Good stats but this was a long shot straight from undergrad

Ancient Mediterranean Religion

Low GRE and GPA. I sincerely wish success for all the admits! Yale is a great school.

Long shot; I had external funding. Oh well!

Worth a shot. GRE scores were not the best but I had a lot of field experience. GPA was good but not the best for an Ivy.

TPB: March 31 is also the visit day at Princeton, Stanford, and Berkeley. This lack of coordination seems intentional.

Really want to know the possibility...

To those posters below who asked about Yale visiting days: The visiting days will be on March 31 and April 1. Further information (e.g., financial support) will be communicated soon. Good luck!

Very excited! I will accept the offer!

I also wanted to know more info about the visit day(date, logistics, reimbursement). I sent some emails, but nobody replied.

Does anyone have further information about visit day at Yale? I want to know if students in waitlist will be reimbursed.

Save it, Susan.
