Didn't get a phone call, so I emailed and asked. For reason, they said there was nothing negative but implied I haven't had as many research opportunities as the other applicants (which is probably true - I have 1 1/2 years of experience plus just one summer internship). I thought the interviews went well, just shows you can never be too sure.

E-mail said "the entering class has been filled and though we are unable to offer you a place in the entering class at this time, we do hope that you will accept a position on our Waitlist."

Kind of shocked, didn't think I'd get the interview here. 2 years of research experience, summer internship at Columbia, 3.6 GPA, no publications yet (but two in prep). But now overwhelmed with excitement!

My Interview is the Jan 31st- Feb. 2nd.

Will have three skype interviews. Super super excited!

3 pubs accepted; 2 in review; 2 in prep. 3.5 years postbacc exp. 3 years, 2 summers under grad exp. MS with 3.7/4.0.

3.77 gpa, 3 years of research, decent gre, 1 presentation at SfN, 2 grant awards. Bummed, this was definitely one of my favorites. good luck everyone else
